Hi, I have made changes to the flyer by: adding the application Octave; a link to lug.org.uk; Kile (didn't include KBibDesk) and I also put it under Productivity rather than Academic; replaced Chrome with Chromium; replaced Nvu with KompoZer; added GnuCash under a new section of Finance. I have also added a new section under the resources of "News, Reviews and Online Magazines" and add more blogs. I had a request for standard text editors to be included but I wanted to steer clear of command line stuff as that, rightfully or wrongfully, tends to alienate new people. And as for the GUI text editors I don't think anyone is going to get excited by them. Here is the link again to the now updated document: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1380916/Edlug/Linux%20Apps%20Flyer%202.pdf Regards, Paul Cooper - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can find the EdLUG mailing list FAQ list at: http://www.edlug.org.uk/list_faq.html
