I agree with this - he came across as fairly likable during the talk
and this was quickly undone by a few minutes of questions. I was
tempted to ask the question "Do you find that putting down people who
ask questions detracts others from asking any?" except I only thought
of it later.
I also don't think the question about programmers being paid for the
fruits of their labours was answered. He merely referred to a lot of
FSF programmers being volunteers. Fair enough, but some people need
to earn money from their job in order to live and don't want to spend
their spare time doing more work. Not everyone who works with
computers also choses to spend their spare time in the same manner.
