At no point in my e-mail did I deny this - what I specifically said that
linux won't do is facilitate anti-virus management ("there are some
things which linux will not, at present, do at all, such as AntiVirus
management"). Norton, CA Innoculate IT, and Sophos (but to name a few)
are all updated via a central server which pulls AV definitions from the
web, and Sophos (to pull an example) is centrally managed in the same
way (for instance, it remotely deploys over active directory very
easily). It is this software which does not exist for linux platforms.
I had no idea that my posting would be so provocative :p
