Subject: [edlug] email userid question

Hello all,

My ISP allows me to view my email over the web using a signon of the form
user@domain

I wanted to emulate this idea on my (internal) postfix setup. I thought it was
just a normal *nix userid with normal *nix authentication. But useradd
doesn't like the format.

So can anyone explain what they're doing to have user@domain signons?

Cheers,

Andrew.
