RE: [edlug] The Grub ate my Boot

Thanks for your reply unfortunetly I have already had to reinstall windows
as its boot record seemed to have been completely wiped out. The system
seems to have some kinda issues with grub in a lot of the latest distros.

I have just installed Debian 3.1 Sarge on it and after adding a simple
entry for windows to the grub/menu.lst file it works great. This is also
the first distro I have used that has detected and set up every piece of
hardware in my system :).

I do have one problem with it that I havent experianced for a few years
now so cant remember how to deal with it. My system has 1024M of memory
but only 800 odd is being detected. Im sure with lolo i just had to add
mem=XXXX to lilo.conf how do I do this with grub.
