I can see I didn't explain very well on the list.

I help support corporate users who need IT things explained to them in as 
simple terms as possible.

They just don't understand things like Sasser not spreading through email.

Thankfully, we don't use MS email products, we use Groupwise.

Hence, my using a rather bad analogy that "there is nothing in your sent 
mail, so you didn't send it".

Hope this is a bit clearer...
