Just a tad easier to set up. Having not used either Smoothwall or IPCop before, IPCop was a bit more intuitive (hence "slightly"). I'm not bothered by aesthetics. Bear in mind also I'm talking about the free version of Smoothwall. I'm sure the boxed product with extra features is lovely ;-) The whole point for us of Smoothwall/IPCop is to have a low-cost solution, and the licence fees for Smoothwall Corporate server effectively double or triple the cost of a gateway.


I'll give you some more feedback when I've tinkered a bit more with both.
