[edlug] [OT] Offer: Various computer junk (Newington)

Afternoon all

Apologies for the spam. I'm moving flats in a couple of weeks so it's time to offload some junk, sorry, give away some awesome hardware opportunities!

All the below FREE, pick up Newington (or I can probably meet centrally).

First up, a motherboard with a Cyrix MediaGX processor. Circa 1998, miniATX(?) size. Bit of an odd one, the processor runs at ~180MHz but the architecture is more 486 than Pentium. I've had this boot a Linux distro (I think Debian or DSL) a year or so ago but never quite found a use for it (I was thinking print server for a while). It's loaded up with RAM, probably ~32M, takes an AT supply (not ATX), I have one to go with it. Supplied with a bunch of breakout cables for the VGA/serial/etc headers on the board. Photos:

Second two ASC386SX single board computers. Quite cute little things really but I never quite got them to work. Two SBCs the size of an ISA card that slot into three ISA slot backplanes. 386SX processor, one of them has a bunch of RAM. One is mounted on a bit of persex with an AT supply (not quite connected) with a VGA card included. Supplied with a FULL MANUAL (hell yeah!) located 30 seconds after photos taken. Photos:

Some S3 Virge thing VGA PCI card
3Com EtherLink III PCI network card

A 256Mb stick of SDRAM (I think PC100)

And the usual keyboards and CDROM drives and assorted detritus.

Anyone interested in this stuff? Otherwise it's skip time!

Al
