Could you use shred from GNU coreutils? It's not fast but it does the job. If you have a compiler available you could build it; if not, you can get a binary package of coreutils (assuming you're running Solaris) from http://www.sunfreeware.com/.

Bear in mind that if you're running off the hard disk then nothing will work once the shredding is finished. You might consider booting from an OS install CD (Linux or Solaris) to avoid problems.

You could always use dd if=/dev/random. How many lifetimes do you have? ;)
