VACANCY PROFILER
Role Purpose

A newly created role within the Resource and Planning Team in Customer Operations (formerly Administration), this role presents a tremendous opportunity to advance and develop the Analysis team influencing the decisions of Management by providing practical solutions to problems backed up with a range of appropriate analysis and management information. Will also be responsible for effectively managing income and costs across Customer Operations and leading and developing a team.

Key Responsibilities·	Prepare documentation and analytical results in line with agreed approach and standards for use throughout Customer Operations.·	Create and evaluate robust management information systems and drive the testing and implementation of agreed information systems. ·	Lead, participate in and advise on projects as required. ·	Review and evaluate databases through the analysis of customer behaviour patterns and / or business volumes to support Customer Operations agreed business objectives. ·	Provide recommendations to internal customers based on analysis undertaken and communicate the implications of these recommendations on business objectives and strategies. ·	Maintain a detailed knowledge of the business activities of the department. ·	Proactively raise any issues on the sources, quality and relevance of the data received and the underpinning systems.·	Maintain knowledge of the latest technology and statistical techniques in the analysis of customer and business databases both within financial services and other industries. ·	Develop operational scorecards. ·	Manage Customer Operations Budgets and Income streams and develop and enhance reporting and tracking tools to maximise income opportunities and control expenditure. ·	Lead, motivate and develop Team Members to ensure individual, team, area and department objectives are achieved, providing coaching within the team as appropriate. 

To be considered for the role the successful candidate ideally should have :

·	A degree in a numerate discipline with statistics elements is preferable·	A minimum of 3 years experience in statistical analysis or a related management information activity within major financial services organisation·	Demonstrable track record of influencing senior management with change proposals·	First hand experience of developing and implementing statistical modelling and scoring methodologies or management information systems·	An understanding of the Financial Services industry·	Banking product and customer understanding, analytical skills, statistical and spreadsheet modelling skills·	PC skills including spreadsheets, graphics, report writing, word processing software and understanding of operating systems·	Knowledge & understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Segmentation Techniques and Predictive Modelling Techniques and Implementations is preferable.
