Job Description: Junior Software Developer

Logicalware are looking for a junior software developer to join their
team. Currently based in Musselburgh, Logicalware are a venture capital 
funded startup company centred around their flagship product MailManager. 
They were one of the first open source based software companies in the UK 
to recieve venture capital funding. An international client base includes 
a number of large organisations.

Whilst the job title states software developer, and the primary focus of
the role will be development on MailManager, the position will also 
involve a varied range of additional duties. Candidates may be expected 
to liase directly with customers in order to carry out consultancy work. 
They may also be expected to carry out a number of administrative duties 
in order to maintain our hosted service.

Skills:

* A degree in computer science or a similar discipline or relevant
  experience
* Candidates would be expected to be fluent in python, and be
  comfortable developing using SQL
* Experience working with revision control systems such as CVS in a
  development enviroment.
* Some knowledge of Zope would be beneficial, but is not essential.
* Additional credit will be given for some experience in systems
  administration and management.
* Good communication skills and abilitiy to work with minimal 
  supervision

* Start Date: ASAP
* Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
