RE: [edlug] VoIP talk at Net Resources this Thursday
Hello,
I just received (last weekend) one of the OEM X100p cards and
installed it and Asterisk. I am now ready to hook it up to the phone
line and try getting Asterisk to answer the phone. Anyone else close to
this stage? If it works, I will be buying a second ( and maybe a third
as I might be getting NTL Cable which comes with a phone line ). Does
anyone have a source for FXS card/USB ports?
Thanks,
Andy Farnsworth

Hello
As promised heres the links to the slides and places to get some of the
equipment
http://www.wheely-bin.co.uk/slides/ (in powerpoint format, i may upload
it in another format in a later stage)
http://www.goods2world.com/product_info.php?products_id=53 <-- thats oem
x100p's
However you should be able to get them from any local computer store
(they are Intel modems (intel / ambient 537's))
they also sell ATA's (ata-186's for instance)
FWD is at www.freeworlddialup.com
And for any cisco 7940 / 7960's i would suggest looking on ebay. a lot
of auctions don't come with the power adaptor though, which is ~£15 from
ebuyer.
For a copy of the dial plans or configs

If theres anything else / anything i've forgtten. feel free to email me
(welby @ wheely-bin.co.uk)
