Re: [edlug] GDM lost it's sessions

My Debian "testing" box got hit by this a couple of days ago after
an upgrade, and started firing up in KDE mode all the time.
Check out the gdm bugs on the Debian site and look at
241096, 241247, 241184 and the ones merged with them.

In the meantime someone on #debian told me to
put "exec gnome-session" in my (previously nonexistent) ~/.xsession
and that got gnome back just fine. The gdm menu is still empty though.
Presumably it will get fixed by some future upgrade when gdm and gnome
agree on where to install stuff.

One good thing about all this: I did actually spend some time playing
with KDE. Nice!
