[edlug] First meeting of EDLUG(Advocates)

On May 6th at 7:30 in the Hollyrood Tavern there will be the first official 
meeting of EDLUG(Advocates). EDLUG(Advocates) is a subgroup of EDLUG. The 
purpose of this group will be for the people who are passionate about 
advocacy to form a structure for itself that can liase with groups outside 
the EDLUG World. Because it has the name EDLUG(Advocates) it will always be 
subservient to EDLUG but it can have it's own rules for it's own members.

The first thing that needs to be done is to appoint a secretary and a 
minimulist constitution eg We are a group of Open Source Advocates. This 
will be the starting point for all the hundreds of ideas that people have 
talked to me about. I am not looking for or am interested in takeing any 
position in this group. I am however willing to do any minor coordination 
until a secretary comes forward. For example 6th of May is quite far away 
and EDLUG(advocates) may want to chat to each other before hand.

If you are interested in participating (that means volunteering to do work 
not just listening)  in EDLUG(Advocates) please E-mail me OFF list so that I 
can group you all together without having to upset EDLUG with a billion 
emails. please put in the title "EDLUG(Advocates) volunteer"
