[edlug] How to get a job?

Hi everyone,

I'm studying CompSci at Edinburgh Uni.  I come from a rural area where the 
only work is seasonal factory work.  I have a couple of questions about 
getting a job in Edinburgh for the Summer.  I would prefer something to do 
with computing and would be very pleased if it was Linux related. (I'm a 
Gentoo user by the way).

1. Where is the best place to look for a job?

2. What certifications would increase my chances? (LPI, MCSE?)

3. What area is most lucrative? (Web programming, Sys admin?)
