Well it definetly sounds like the power supply.

However if you dont have any  waranty seals you may want to try checking
all electrical connections and reseating all components just to be sure
before you go through the hastles of a waranty claim.

If you are technicaly minded the most common cause of a power supply
failure is for the power supply to have badly soldered connections on the
circuit board either on the output wires or on any high heat components.
